The existing kitchen and utility room were opened up into an open-plan kitchen/living room in the heart of the house – designed to accommodate modern family living with young children.
In order to bring the house up to date we rewired the whole structure, binging in state of the art electronics, lighting and sound systems to be installed throughout house and garden.
The main entrance was moved to the centre of the house where an elegant porch was created, incorporating an elaborate tile feature and striking herringbone brickwork. A superb sense of space and light was achieved as we were also able to open up and simplify the hall area.
The main bathroom was switched with the dressing room allowing the client to enjoy their spectacular views each morning from the double shower, and much fun was had designing a climate-controlled wine cellar complete with modern Crittall steel doors.
